NHRC Video Update

Our Congolese partners at New Hope Reconciliation Center (NHRC) are so thankful for your generosity that they have created a special video message to express their gratitude to you directly. 2025 brought the opening of New Hope Academy and the graduation of the inaugural class of 20 students! They are now practicing their newly acquired culinary and tailoring skills in their community.

New Hope Academy is a residential training center located in Kavumu which is near Bukavu in DRC. It is a center where young adults from multiple tribes, many with a history of conflict, will be living and learning together in Christian unity. This vocational school was built by these same diverse tribes working together so that their youth can become leaders spreading peace and economic opportunity for their families and communities. At New Hope Academy they will gain employable skills to break the cycle of poverty and violence in an atmosphere of reconciliation.
