WE DID IT!  With your generosity, the 2025 Spirit of Congo event brought in over $110,000 that will go directly to East Congo for the programs administered by our partner New Hope Reconciliation Center (NHRC).  Your contributions will transform lives by helping to break the chronic cycle of poverty, violence, and tribal animosity. The impact of your gift is powerful! 

Your generosity will continue and expand important work to rebuild communities and provide a safe and healthy future for all. Here are a few more ways your donations will change lives:

• At New Hope Academy near Bukavu it will double the number of students in inter-tribal residential vocational training, promoting opportunities for all.

• It will continue education and activities for 50 war-orphaned children now in foster families thanks to NHRC.

• In rural Minembwe it will empower more women to create more small business cooperatives -- just like the widow we learned about who is caring for her eight children through her thriving business raising and selling goats.
