2024 Spirit of Congo - A wonderful night of celebration

Thank you to everyone who participated in bringing hope to the people in South Kivu in the DRC. We are grateful for your support at Spirit of Congo! Your dollars help this ministry accomplish God’s work in the Congo.

Congo Peace is seen as a beacon of hope in South Kivu. As one Congolese leader says, “many come and go, but Congo Peace stays.” Your donations make that happen.

As of this morning, we have raised over $36,000. We are very grateful for this demonstration of support; however, it will only allow us to fund the new school and current reconciliation operations through March 2025. Every thousand dollars extends our reach and impact.

We are still accepting gifts for this campaign online here and by check mailed to Congo Peace at P.O. Box 232, Issaquah WA 98027. We are also able to accept donations from IRAs or donor-advised funds. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

You heard of the success over the past year in Minembwe with tribes reconciling and living in peace. You also heard there is a new vocational training school opening in January where people from all tribes will live and learn together, being equipped with skills for a sustainable livelihood.

We hope the testimonies you heard helped to broaden your understanding of the humanitarian crisis in the Congo and how Congo Peace is walking alongside our partners there to restore peace, reconciliation, and opportunity.
